ABOUT PIEZ

Piez is a rapper, singer, songwriter & recording artist from Colton, California with Mexican roots. He became infatuated with music early on while traveling back and forth from the Inland-Empire to Texas and grew to immerse himself in every note of every song from every genre played on the radio, vowing to become a student of the rap music genre. 

Simultaneous to the release of his first EP, Piez has embraced a strong entrepreneurial spirit, launching his own label and imprint, GETO CELEBRITY RECORDS.

Piez prides himself on making something out of nothing.  He grew up around street violence and poverty, but used music and poetry as outlets to escape, and eventually becoming his passion.  In 2009 Piez was introduced to his first professional recording studio set-up at a friend's house. Witnessing first-hand how music was made and recorded immediately sparked a creative flame inside of him that has now become a lifelong obsession.

Harkening back in the days of catchy hooks and lyrics that paint vivid pictures with a unique narrative voice, Piez delivers his vibe to all prospective fans, especially new listeners tuning in for the very first time.  Stylistically, Piez is no ordinary Chicano rapper, noticeably and purposefully diversifying his sound across every song that he delivers.

His mission is to deliver music with a positive impact that new and long-time listeners can relate to and feel.  This "positive impact” is most important to him, especially as it relates to reaching today’s kids.  For them, Piez hope these fans will do as he did…and follow their dreams with hard work and dedication, no matter the circumstance.

Piez will expand his duties as a Producer for other artists, with a vision to expand his new record label to further develop and assist the next generation of musicians. For Piez, "no” is not an option… it's simply another way of saying, “Keep Going!”

Coupled with his family motivation and strong mindset, he’s learned to stay focused in order to beat the odds and become successful.

Piez's talent effortlessly matches his drive, and will prove that he's an artist worth watching.
